How every call works
- Opens with the business name, that it is Ava, an AI assistant, who the call is on behalf of, and why it is calling.
- Says calls may be recorded.
- Stops straight away if someone asks not to be called, and records that request so they are not called again.
- Calls only at reasonable hours, and never on Sundays or national public holidays.
- Checks the Do Not Call Register where it applies.
- Hands over to your team when a person asks for one or the call needs a human.
What we need from you
- A list of people with a lawful basis for the call, for example a recent enquiry, a requested callback, or an existing relationship, with a record of how they agreed.
- A script and opening you have approved.
- Your own checks on your contact list.
You stay responsible for having a lawful basis to contact each person. We keep call records and opt outs to help you show it.
What we do not do
- Cold call consumers.
- Call people who have asked not to be called.
- Pretend to be a person.
